Wilt Sorrell Is Crowned Champion at Lyricist Lounge in RVA

We are proud to recognize FrequencyVa Member, Wilt Sorrell, for coming out on top of the 7th episode of Lyricist Lounge, a competition held at Strange Matter in the heart of downtown Richmond near VCU. Created by Radio Blitz, Lyricist Lounge is a competition aimed at providing a creative outlet to bring local hip hop artists together to showcase their music.

Out of pure curiosity, Wilt stumbled into episode 7 of Lyricist Lounge, thinking it would just be an open mic cypher. After delivering an awe-inspiring performance, he was crowned champion of Lyricist Lounge Ep. 7!  Giving it his all with each special performance, Wilt has gradually created a buzz for himself in the 804 area of RVA. Headlining performers included FrequencyVA Member, Intalek (ATI or Die) and many other hip hop ambassadors.
